Decorate your Baldness!

Naomi is a young alopecian who has great ideas for having fun without having hair. She's put colorful stickers around her head, she's had her head painted to go to a baseball game. Even I've been known to draw designs and swirl patterns on my head once in a while when I go out just to add an eastern look to myself. Mehandi tattoos are gaining popularity - they are temporary henna dyes that can be painted to your hands, ankles or head, and wash off after 3 or 4 days. Kits are sometimes available through pharmacies almost anywhere tese days. temporary tattoos are also pretty fun - especially the ones that come in strips that are supposed to be for ankles or armbands - they can be cut to fit around your head in a circle, or whatever else your imagination sees fit, and they are way inexpensive.

Skin as Art

When you have access to city services, one great idea to look for on your next shopping trip are Mendhi or Henna design kits. Mendhi design is an eastern country traditon making a cross-over into western culture through artists such as Madonna, Christina Aguilera and other performance artists on music video.
Alopecians can add designs to their hands, arms, ankles and on their heads with Henna dyes that can be applied to the skin with tubes to create really awesome looking ornate designs. Many symbols can be found for free through a simple google search (free henna designs), printed out and then traced on your hands, head, eyebrows or arms - wherever you want (though stay away from doing your eyeline with these products).
These are semi-permanent, meaning you can let them fade by themselves (anywhere from 3 days to a week, depending on the concentration or name brand you purchase - or you can choose to reapply the designs until you tire of the look).

Skin as Aesthetic

Many alopecians have taken the decision to have eyebrows tattooed, when they've lost all their body hair. I noticed many chemotherapy patients can be mistaken for being Alopecians, but I did notice that people undergoing radiation therapy tend to keep their eyebrows and eyelashes - a telling mark if someone is really alopecian or not.
Hence the decision for many people who wear wigs or hair pieces to have their eyebrows done by tattoo artists or professional body care specialists and aestheticians. These are permanent marks on your body though, so carefully select the company, the procedure and the design as it will cost a lot more to have the designs removed if you change your mind. Alopecians should also keep in mind that should their hair grow back that there will be the tattoo to deal with - though some people did mention that when they shaved their eyebrows off to get them tattooed on that their eyebrows never came back (a rarity though).
Also, if you are an adventurous spirit and want to look really cool, think of getting small flames designed, think of adding a red color to the pigment, think of a tiny string of moons and stars as designs! You can choose to be as conservative or as unique as you can be, these are suggestions, options and ideas.
