Living Life Alopecian Style!

Ken had shaved his head and in this modern age we must protect our skin from the sun. Ken found a good idea on the internet -- he could wear bandanas! That would be cool!

Ken found some different kinds of bandanas at a store in the mall. Looking around, Ken noticed that bandanas were a new style that even people with hair wore!

Ken found some grey ones, Ken found some red ones, Ken even found bandanas with smiley faces and peace symbols on them! Ken felt better and at work he even took the time to explain to everyone that he had alopecia.

Not everyone understood what alopecia was, but Ken showed them websites, and even showed pictures of famous people with alopecia!

At work, Ken had some people who were a little uneducated about alopecia who were making his life stressful, so Ken just talked to his boss and decided it was time to find something else to do in life. Ken realized his hair was not the center of the universe and Ken decided to make himself a new life. Ken would no longer live life like a Ken Doll, but Ken would live life like a real person!

Ken knew he was going to lose all his hair so Ken accepted that he couldn't change that. Ken would live life a lot better, Ken would be happier with who he was. Just because Ken lost his hair did not mean Ken would have to stop living! Ken was going to live life with less stress!
